Music Directors
Band Director, Nicola Narcisi
The Leicester Town Band is very fortunate to have Nicola Narcisi as its band director. Since the band formed, Mr. Narcisi has been providing his leadership and talents in bringing together a variety of amature musicians.
Mr. Narcisi has been the Director for Music Programs at Leicester High School since 1984. He is a graduate from Lowell University with Bachelor degree in Music Education and a graduate from Worcester State College with Masters in Administration.
He has studied improvisation and precussion at Berklee School of Music in Boston, has studied percussion under Fred Budda, Trumpet under Natalo Piella, Timpani under Everette Bealle.
Mr. Narcisi has performed as principal trumpet under Arthur Fiedler for Regatta Orchestra and performance venues include Mechanics Hall Worcester, Symphony Hall Boston.
Assistant Band Director, Kristina Looney
Kristina Looney is graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 2011 with a degree in Music Education. Her primary instrument is trumpet and she plays trombone and French horn in the LTB. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Psi and MENC (Music Educators National Conference).
